Access Token Based Authentication

Access Token Based Authentication is the default device authentication type. Once the device is created in IIoTNext Platform, the default access token is generated. It can be changed afterward if needed. In order to connect the device to a server using Access Token based authentication, the client must specify the access token as part of the request URL, for HTTP, or as a username in MQTT connect message. To get the Access Token, go to the device and click on the Copy access token button:
